How RELUDRO TAB works
Relugolix blocks GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland, reducing the release of LH and FSH. This lowers ovarian estrogen and progesterone production, which helps reduce symptoms related to uterine fibroids and endometriosis.
Estradiol provides a small amount of estrogen to reduce excessive estrogen-deficiency symptoms caused by relugolix.
Norethisterone acetate is a progestogen that helps counteract estrogen's effects on the uterine lining and provides endometrial protection.
If you miss a dose
If you miss a dose, take it when you remember unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose. Follow your doctor's instructions if multiple doses are missed.
