- Swallow the tablet whole with water.
- Telma 20 Tablet can generally be taken with or without food.
- Take it at the same time each day for consistent blood-pressure control.
- Do not crush or chew the tablet unless specifically instructed.
- Continue taking Telma 20 Tablet even if you feel well, unless your doctor tells you to stop.
Do not change the dose or stop treatment without consulting your doctor.

Telmisartan in Telma 20 Tablet blocks the action of angiotensin II at AT1 receptors.
Angiotensin II normally causes blood vessels to constrict and contributes to increased blood pressure. By blocking its action, Telma 20 Tablet helps the blood vessels relax and widen, which lowers blood pressure and reduces strain on the heart.

- Use Telma 20 Tablet only as prescribed.
- Monitor your blood pressure regularly.
- Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems.
- Your doctor may monitor kidney function and potassium levels during treatment.
- Avoid potassium supplements or potassium-containing salt substitutes unless your doctor recommends them.
- Tell your doctor about all medicines and supplements you take.
- Inform your doctor if you experience severe dizziness or fainting.
- Do not stop Telma 20 Tablet suddenly without medical advice.
- Limit alcohol because it may increase the blood-pressure-lowering effect and dizziness.

Telma 20 Tablet and Pregnancy
Telma 20 Tablet should not be used during pregnancy. Telmisartan can cause serious harm to the developing baby, particularly during later pregnancy.
Inform your doctor immediately if you become pregnant while taking Telma 20 Tablet. Your doctor will advise you about an appropriate alternative.
